Every tray and canopy we build starts with the ute and the trade it has to serve. We measure the chassis, work out where the weight needs to sit, and design the layout around the gear you actually carry — not a catalogue template.
Welds are done properly and finished clean, because the tray is the part of your ute that cops the most punishment.

Custom Aluminium Ute Trays
Aluminium ute trays keep weight off the chassis so you stay under your payload limit with a full load of tools. We build the deck, drop sides, headboard and mounts to suit your cab-chassis, with tie-down points and toolbox cut-outs where you actually need them.
Steel trays are available too where the job calls for brute strength over weight saving — we'll tell you straight which one suits your ute.
Custom Ute Canopies
A canopy turns the tray into secure, weatherproof storage. Ours are fabricated panel by panel to the tray, with the door layout, window positions and internal fitout set by the way you work rather than by a stock size.
Dual Cab Ute Canopies
Dual cab utes lose tub length to the second row, so the canopy layout has to earn every millimetre. We build dual cab canopies with full-height side access, a usable floor plan and drawers sized to what you carry.
Canopy Drawer Systems & Storage
Drawer systems are built to the tools, not to a catalogue. Full-extension slides, welded frames, dividers, shelving and roller floors — fitted into canopies we've built or into a canopy already on the vehicle.
Central Locking & Accessories
Central locking, gas struts, water tanks, jerry and gas-bottle holders, ladder racks and lighting can all be fitted during the build so nothing is bolted on as an afterthought.
Aluminium or Steel — Built to Your Job
Aluminium is lighter and suits touring and long-distance fleet work where payload matters. Steel is heavier, cheaper to repair and handles hard trade abuse without complaint. We talk through the load, the ute and the budget before anything is cut.

The workshop is at Unit 5/13 Turley Street, Ipswich QLD 4305. Brisbane customers are a regular part of the work — it's roughly 40 minutes from the CBD down the Ipswich Motorway, and far less from Brisbane's western suburbs. The ute comes to us; we don't do mobile or on-site fitting.

Ute Tray & Canopy FAQs
What's the difference between a ute tray and a canopy?
A ute tray is the flat load-carrying deck that replaces the factory tub, usually with drop sides and a headboard. A canopy is the enclosed, lockable box that sits on top of that tray to keep tools and gear secure and dry. Most of our customers order both together so the mounting, weight distribution and drawer layout are designed as one unit.
Aluminium or steel — which is better?
Aluminium is lighter, which keeps you under your payload limit and suits touring and long-distance fleet work. Steel is heavier but cheaper to repair and handles hard trade abuse well. We'll tell you which one suits your ute and your load before you commit.
Can you add drawers and shelving to a canopy?
Yes. We build and fit custom drawer systems, shelving and dividers into canopies we've built and into canopies already on the vehicle. Drawers are built to the tools you carry rather than a fixed size.
Do you service Brisbane customers?
Yes. All work is done at our fixed workshop at Unit 5/13 Turley Street, Ipswich QLD 4305 — roughly 40 minutes from Brisbane's CBD and much closer to Brisbane's western suburbs. We do not offer mobile or on-site fitting; the ute comes to us.
