Structural Steel Fabrication

Sheet Metal Fabrication
Sheet work is cut on the CNC plasma table, folded on the press brake and welded up in the same shop: panels, enclosures, covers, trays, guards and brackets, in one-offs or repeat runs.
Aluminium & Alloy Fabrication
Alloy fabrication for ute trays, canopies, tanks, boxes and lightweight frames, TIG welded where the join needs to be clean as well as strong.

What is sheet metal fabrication?
Sheet metal fabrication is the process of turning flat sheet into a finished part by cutting, folding and welding it. At Off Tap Metal Fabrication that means profiling the sheet on the CNC plasma table, folding it on the press brake and welding it up into the finished panel, enclosure, tray or bracket in our Ipswich workshop.
What metals do you fabricate?
Mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium — structural sections, plate and sheet — across structural, sheet and alloy work.
Can you work from my drawings or DXF files?
Yes. Send the engineer's drawings or the DXF, DWG or IPT files and we'll fabricate to spec. Where there are no drawings, we design the job in-house and confirm it with you before we start.
Do you make gates and balustrades?
Yes — gates, fencing panels, balustrades and handrails, in plain or decorative styles, with plasma-cut detail if you want it.
